Janhavi Sawant is dedicated to directing narrative films that authentically portray slice-of-life moments, underpinned by a nuanced, structured realism. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Film and Television, she pursued an MFA in Film and Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design, seeking to refine her expertise and immerse herself in a new cultural perspective. Her passion for filmmaking and creative expression serves as her core motivation, and she aspires to help audiences reconnect with their sense of self through her work.

Currently, Janhavi holds the role of  Creative Producer and Director at The Voice Authority to run Flip, where she leads the conceptual development and scriptwriting for the Flipkart Fashion channel. She orchestrates detailed shoot plans, schedules production timelines, and creatively manages each project to ensure seamless alignment between the original vision and the final execution and delivery.
